JOHN P. HIGGINS
John P. Higgins is a partner in the firm having joined the firm in 2000 after a 22 year career as a trial attorney with Employer’s Insurance, Wausau. While with Wausau he tried insurance defense and worker’s compensation cases throughout Eastern Wisconsin and acted as Legal Counsel for Wausau’s representative to the Wisconsin Worker’s Compensation Advisory Council.
John graduated cum laude from St. Norbert College in 1974 with a Bachelors of Arts Degree. His Law Degree was obtained from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1977. He also obtained a Masters in Business Administration with distinction from Keller Graduate School of Management in 1986.
A published author, John is a member of the adjunct faculty of Cardinal Stritch University. He has also taught at Carthage College and Marian College of Fond du Lac, and has been a faculty member of a number of legal seminars.
Practice areas of which John is currently involved in include civil and business Litigation, Business, Worker’s Compensation, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Not-for-Profit Organizations.
